Hiking

in magnificent and spectacular landscapes
To use

a feast for the eyes

Jas du Lièvre, Dent de Bedina, Cime de la Jasse, Pic de la Belle étoile, Lac de la Jasse, Lac de Crop, Pas de la Coche, lacs du Vénétier or lacs des 7 Laux, the Belledonne massif is the ideal place for a wide range of hikes in magnificent, spectacular scenery. It also opens out onto the surrounding ranges, such as the Chartreuse and Mont-Blanc massifs.

Discover magnificent, spectacular scenery as you hike in Les 7 Laux.

Of course, before you set off on your hike, make sure you take all the essential safety precautions and accessories: weather, footwear, sun cream, hat, clothing, water, snacks, itinerary adapted to your level, etc…

Echappée belle Belledonne

For trail enthusiasts, this once-a-year event is a must for all great sportsmen and women. A complete crossing of the Belledonne mountain range from Vizille to Aiguebelle in Savoie. The 85 km route includes the Croix de Belledonne, the highest point at 2926 m. Ridges and balconies give way to unique panoramas.

The GR738®, the high Belledonne traverse

Reserved for keen hikers, the traversée de Belledonne is a magnificent 140 km hike along the GR 738. From the cols, you’ll have astonishing views of the surrounding peaks and the region’s most famous summits. An 11-day hike. Of course, it’s possible to hike this GR738 without doing the entire Belledonne traverse.

On the shepherds’ trail

Follow in the footsteps of the shepherds and follow the same itinerary as the animals on their way to the summer pastures. On this hike you’ll discover the world of the Belledonne mountain pastures. There are several hiking routes to choose from: the Crêt du Poulet, the Crêt du Boeuf or the links between the different sites in the resort.

Hike from Prapoutel to Habert d’Aiguebelle (with the option of going on to Pas de la Coche or Vénétiers lakes).

Discover the farms

Families or casual hikers can take these tours on their own, thanks to “carnets de balade” available in a letterbox at the start of each tour. Along the way, the booklet guides them along the route to be followed, with observation stops. Texts, photos and games for all ages will help them discover the workings of the surrounding farms and the link between farming and the landscape.
