The 7 Laux refuge
The 7 Laux refuge is located at an altitude of 2135 meters at the crossroads of 3 lakes: Lac de la Motte, Lac carré and Lac Cottepens. The refuge lies at the crossroads of a number of trails, most notably the GR®738 Haute traversée de Belledonne. It offers an extraordinary setting and a surprising location, set on a strip of land between Lac carré and Lac Cottepens. The refuge can be reached in a 3h30-4h walk from the parking lot at Fond de France or from the Pleynet station.
