You’re short of inspiration and don’t really know where to go hiking from Les 7 Laux. Rest assured, there’s no shortage of itineraries and tour ideas. In summer, the Lac de la Jasse, the Habert d’Aiguebelle, the Pas de la Coche, the Vénétiers lakes and the Pays d’Allevard tour are just some of the many possibilities. A magnificent hike not to be missed if you want to spend several days is the Tour des Lacs des 7 Laux.
In and around the Belledonne massif, there are a wide variety ofcircuits, itineraries and hikes to choose from. For children, for example, don’t hesitate to take them on sound trails around Les 7 Laux, such as those in the Haut Breda valley. This is a fun hike, punctuated by markers that tell the story of a village and its surroundings. For others, it’s the Lac de la Jasse, accessible in part by chairlift, which will delight them with its views and rapid arrival at altitude. Of course, the whole hike can also be done on foot.
The “haute traversée de Belledonne” is without doubt one of the most beautiful hikes in the massif. However, it is aimed at people who already have a very good level of fitness, or who are already trail runners. La traversée de Belledonne is a 9-10 day hike, with 10 hours of walking per day, pass crossings, significant vertical drops and nights in refuges.
