The shady Lac de la Mirande is located in the commune of Allevard, near the 7 Laux ski resort. It’s a bucolic spot where families can relax, picnic or enjoy a snack.

A precious natural site

The modest Lac de la Mirande in Allevard is the ideal place for family bathing around the 7 Laux resort. Situated at an altitude of 450 metres near Allevard-les-Bains, it is shallow, which favours warmth.

Shaded but with sunny areas for a relaxing day out, it offers a number of leisure activities, including fishing, a fitness trail and lively games for children.

In addition to swimming and leisure activities, Lac de la Mirande is also a great place for children to discover many animals. Indeed, the Lac de la Mirande in Allevard is a 2nd category artificial lake. It’s an ideal breeding ground for the amphibians found in the surrounding forest, but it’s also possible to see mallards.

Anglers will be able to catch many species of fish, including carp, perch, pike and roach.
