Away from the hustle and bustle of the lifts, take the time to breathe and practice Nordic skiing in complete freedom. Skating or alternating steps, the cross-country slopes of the 7 Laux Nordic areas allow you to practice all the techniques of Nordic skiing.
Depending on the route you choose you will have the chance to overlook the Haut Bréda valley or the Grésivaudan valley.
Several areas dedicated to Nordic skiing
If 7 Laux has 2 areas reserved for Nordic skiing:
- The Nordic area from Beldina to Prapoutel, which has the largest number of slopes of all levels, thus allowing everyone to practice Nordic skiing on Prapoutel. The largest loop is a 6 km red loop. The others range from 3 to 5 km without counting the 0.1 km black trail “Challenge of Beldina”
- The Pleynet’s high altitude area offers 3.5 km of trails at 1,950 m altitude and accessible from the chairlift of the Pincerie.

Do you want to learn or progress in Nordic skiing? The instructors of the 7 Laux ski schools teach you the basics and basic techniques to practice Nordic skiing independently and then embark on the 7 Laux Nordic ski area to enjoy its magnificent routes.
