Well-known to freeride enthusiasts among others, the Vallons du Pra piste at Le Pleynet is one of the jewels in the crown of Les 7 Laux. Offering splendid scenery, this piste charms many with its immaculate expanse of snow. Starting at an altitude of 2,400 meters, this partly ungroomed run offers 1,000 meters of vertical drop in complete freedom.

A black track

for the more discerning

The Vallons du Pra piste is a black run, one of the many that have made the reputation of the 7 Laux resort. Bordering the groomed pistes, this trail is marked out but not groomed, offering a veritable universe of virgin snow for all powder and freeride enthusiasts.

Easy access

Although the Vallons du Pra piste is a black run, it’s nonetheless easy to get to. Thanks to the detachable Gypaète chairlift on the Pipay side, you can reach the start of the run from the top of the resort at an altitude of 2,400 meters.

For those who don’t want to start so high up, it’s possible to take the Oursière detachable chairlift to the Vallons du Pra piste, then take the Plan du Pra piste and branch off onto the piste noire l’évêque. This variant avoids the entire upper part of the piste, and in particular the steepest part.

To celebrate the end of the season, this new derby offers all snow sports enthusiasts an exceptional day out on the Vallons du Pra piste!

Fabulous landscapes

Starting at the top of the resort, the Vallons du Pra piste on Le Pleynet offers a breathtaking panorama with a plunging view over the Haut Bréda valley. This is also the moment when the view of surrounding peaks such as Cime de la Jasse, Dent du Pra and Pic de la Belle Etoile is breathtaking.

The arrival at the resort on the Pleynet side is most bucolic, with a passage skirting the forest for some of the most magnificent scenery, lined with fir trees.

The Vallons du Pra ski run is the undisputed jewel in the crown of Les 7 Laux, even though it’s only for the most experienced skiers. Breathtaking scenery for a unique experience. If your skiing level allows it, and if you love powder runs, don’t miss out on this renowned slope.
