A word from our ambassadors

Meeting with Rémi

Discover the portrait of Rémi, one of our 7 ambassadors for the 2020/2021 winter season. Between passion and passion, experience through his words his visceral attachment to skiing and the mountains, and meet a true admirer of Les 7 Laux. A rich and fascinating interview.

Hello, can you introduce yourself?

Hello, my name is Rémi Dujardin, I’m 20 and I’m currently a student in Grenoble. I grew up close to the mountains, which is why I’m so passionate about the mountains and the many sports you can do there. I do a lot of downhill skiing, ski touring and trail running, and these activities allow me to enjoy the mountains that surround us in both summer and winter.

Why did you choose to become an ambassador for Les 7 Laux?

I chose to become an ambassador for Les 7 Laux because it’s my favorite resort, where I discovered the world of skiing and got my first taste of the mountains. I wanted to get involved by promoting the 7 Laux brand and sharing images of my outings. I think it’s important to promote activities that many people don’t know about.

What does Les 7 Laux mean to you?

For me, Les 7 Laux is a fantastic playground and a resort that allows me to have a great time and do some incredible sessions with friends! I’ve evolved in this resort, and that’s enabled me to discover every nook and cranny and secret that’s hidden there.

How long have you been visiting the resort?

I’ve been coming to the resort since I started skiing, when I was 3-4 years old. The proximity of Les 7 Laux has enabled me to take full advantage of the resort.

Is there one place more than another that you think symbolizes the station?

A place that symbolizes the resort? A lot of people will say the vallons du Pra or the lammergeyer, but I’m going to say Pipay. It’s a little less crowded than Prapoutel, and for the locals, it’s a little better 😊. Plus there’s La Noisette, a piste that’s always top-notch, whatever the conditions! (And of course the Farinaud)

What’s your favorite thing to do in Les 7 Laux?

My favorite activity at Les 7 Laux is skiing… Not very original for a ski resort, to be sure, but there’s something for everyone, with pistes and a good deal of off-piste to explore!

Can you tell us about your perfect day in the mountains?

The perfect day is gray and foggy in the valley in the morning, we climb to 7 Laux with a good bunch of friends, and when we get there, sunshine and a sea of clouds! Add to that 30cm of fresh snow overnight, and it’s incredible! A great day of tracing! And at the end of the day, when we’ve had our fill, it’s off to the Farinaud for a pie and a good beer.

In moderation, of course!

Do you have any favorite trails in Les 7 Laux?

What’s great about Les 7 Laux is that there’s so much to do! But I think my favorite runs are obviously the Vallons du Pra, Noisette and l’Evêque.

Are there anyother activities you’d recommend doing in Les 7 Lauxbesides those you’ve mentioned ?

Of course, in winter you can also go cross-country skiing, with a small but very nice Nordic area, and in summer hiking, trail riding or mountain biking. The resort also has a great DH playground.

Do you visit the resort in summer? If so, for which activity(ies)?

I go there a little less in summer than in winter, but yes, I regularly go hiking. There are some beautiful lakes in the Belledonne massif that are accessible from the resort.

The final word: 3 words that come to mind to define the resort

Buddies, fun and pleasure!
