Interview

A word from our ambassadors

Discovering Coline

Today, it’s Coline’s turn to transport us into her refreshing world! This young entrepreneur has been a fan of the 7 Laux resort since she was a child, and shares her mountain experiences with us in an interview full of discoveries. From her attachment to Les 7 Laux, to her most memorable experiences and favorite activities, Colinese talks frankly!

Hello Coline, can you introduce yourself?

Hello, my name is Coline, I’m 26 (already), and I run Bear creative, a digital communications agency I set up nearly 2 years ago. I’m passionate about mountains, outdoor activities and travel, and I’m also a big fan of cheese and coffee.

Why did you choose to become an ambassador for Les 7 Laux?

To share. To share with the community, and why not inspire it, through the high points I experience in the mountains, at Les 7 Laux. I’m delighted to wear the colors (and values) of the resort, and to share my experiences up there in words and images. I’m proud to represent a vast area, with its variety of relief and incredible panoramas: all ingredients that make it ideal for any skier in search of pleasure, both on the way up and the way down.

What does Les 7 Laux mean to you?

Born to parents from Grenoble, I learned to ski in Prapoutel 25 years ago. I took my first steps there, my first turns. Belledonne is the massif where I started out in the mountains. Today, I use the family apartment at Les Granges to explore the massif all year round, from the first snows to the last rays of autumn sunshine.

How long have you been using the station?

Ever since I was a little girl!

Is there one place you think symbolizes the resort more than another?

Les Vallons du Pra. Its exposure and possibilities are numerous, whether for downhill skiing, snowboarding or ski touring.
snowboarding or ski touring. Safe but wild, demanding but beautiful.

What's your favorite thing to do in Les 7 Laux?

I started with downhill skiing, then tried my hand at freestyle for a short while, before taking up snowboarding as a teenager. While I never say no to a day on the slopes on skis or snowboard, it’s now ski touring that thrills me the most. The opportunities in the massif are incredible.

Can you tell us about your perfect day in the mountains?

Easy! A nice outing with the skins around Pic de la Belle Étoile, a beautiful descent to end the day at sunset, a beer on the balcony at Les Granges, and a good chevriflette at Kaktuss, of course!

Do you have a favorite trail in Les 7 Laux?

I’m a fan of Bedina and its fir trees when it snows, and of Roche noire for a good shot of speed. And I’m never averse to a trip to the snowpark and boardercross, for a bit of fun or to shoot the breeze with friends!

Are there any other activities you'd recommend doing at Les 7 Laux apart from the one you mentioned?

Bedina Spa and the Beldina Nordic area are a must. Two rooms, two atmospheres, but both activities offer complete immersion.

Do you visit the resort in summer? If so, for which activity(ies)?

In summer at Les 7 Laux, hiking and mountain biking take over, and the resort has nothing to envy its “rivals”. I appreciate the efforts made by the tourist office to revitalize the resort and turn it into a “4-season” resort.

Last word: 3 words that come to mind to define the resort?

Tranquility, variety, modernity.
