Unlike downhill skiing, cross-country skiing in the great outdoors allows you to recharge your batteries and enjoy a moment of peace and quiet. From the moment you put on your skis, you’re in total freedom. As you take your first alternating steps, you can feel all your muscles starting to work: adductors, calves, buttocks, forearms – your whole body moves to the rhythm of your progress down the slope.
As you make your way along loops ranging from 1 km to 6 km, depending on your mood and ability, on the Beldina Nordic ski area in Prapoutel or on the Voie Blanche at altitude in Le Pleynet, you ski in harmony with nature. A short climb? Stop for a moment at the summit, take a deep breath and enjoy the magnificent panorama. Of course, going uphill means going downhill. So don’t try to use quarters, there aren’t any…brake…and you’ve arrived in a magnificent little combe.
