Everything you need to know to prepare for your family holiday

  • At what age can my child start skiing?

    Children can start skiing from the age of 3 in the kindergarten (Club Piou-Piou). The ESF offers lessons adapted to each age group, with fun teaching methods for the youngest children. Before the age of 3, toddlers can take advantage of the nursery and specially adapted snow activities such as tobogganing.

  • What activities are available from the age of 3-4?

    From the age of 3-4, children can enjoy the children’s garden, safe tobogganing, Wiz luge, play areas and Snake gliss as a family. The children’s village also offers age-appropriate activities.

  • Are there any childcare facilities for younger children?

    Yes, the nursery welcomes children from the age of 6 months. Children’s clubs with entertainment are available during the school holidays. You can also call on home baby-sitting services to enjoy evenings out with adults.

  • How do you get to Les 7 Laux in winter with children?

    The resort can be reached in 1 hour from Grenoble and 1? hours from Lyon by motorway. The access road is well maintained in winter. Make sure you have snow equipment (chains or winter tyres are compulsory). Chaining areas are available at the bottom of the climb.

  • What to do if the weather is bad one day?

    If the weather is bad, there are plenty of options to choose from: nearby swimming pool and wellness area, bowling, nearby cinema, creative workshops for the kids, or simply a cosy day in your accommodation with board games and raclette!

  • What are the best packages for families?

    The Tribu pass is specially designed for families: it allows you to ski together at a preferential rate. Special offers are also available during certain periods. Children under 5 are free.
