An easy climb

In summer, ski lifts are the realm of mountain bikers and hikers like in many other ski resorts. Here in Prapoutel, it is common as well. Determined to treat yourself to several rides and take advantage of a recognised downhill mountain biking area, you opt for the day package. With this you can use the chairlifts to reach the top of the slopes. From there, admire the whole bikepark. Its reputation is well established and the residents from Grenoble flock there to enjoy the quality of its shape.

AVAILABILITY OF MANY TRAILS

It’s time to prepare the schedule. There will be some work for you because this famous downhill mountain biking area has no fewer than 14 mountain biking trails. Your focus is not on the 2 green runs to get to the heart of the matter: 4 blue runs, 4 red runs, 1 black run, and even 1 run for experts. There, it is certain! It will make things happen. By taking the Chamois chairlift oin Prapoutel, you climb up to 2000 meters.

Varied routes

At the top of the Bikepark of 7 Laux, you will have to struggle through the rather rocky terrain. Once you crossed the slippery ground, you will be able to have a little fun in a rugged world. This is the part with the roots and the fir trees. For your first descent, opt for a blue run with turned-up turns and XXL size braking points.

After spending the day enjoying the activities of a recognised mountain biking area and going down through the rock, you will be glad to go through the Cortillets run with its sloppy terrain, its turned-up turns, its drops and its mini shores.

Now you understand why this is a recognised downhill mountain biking area and you start wondering if you would not have been better at the pool!
